Abstract

This research investigates the impact of training and human resource development on the performance of employees at PT BPR Bank Solo (Perseroda). Using a quantitative design with total sampling, the study involved 55 participants. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques. The findings reveal that training exerts a positive and significant influence on employee performance, whereas human resource development shows a significant yet negative effect. When tested simultaneously, both variables were found to significantly affect employee performance. These results emphasize the critical role of targeted training initiatives and strategically managed human resource development in enhancing organizational performance. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) of 38.7% suggests that training and human resource development explain a portion of employee performance variation, while the remaining 61.3% is attributable to factors outside the scope of this study.
