Previous or relevant research is crucial in any research study or scientific article. Such research serves to reinforce theories and phenomena regarding the relationships or influences between variables. This article reviews the factors that influence work productivity in the digital age, namely work flexibility and work-life balance, based on a literature review in the field of human resources. The purpose of this article is to develop hypotheses regarding the relationships between variables for use in future research. The findings of this literature review are:  1) Work flexibility influences work productivity; 2) Work-life balance influences work productivity.
