This study aims to examine the extent to which reward and punishment influence employee performance at Jetshops Boutique, located in ITC Mangga Dua, North Jakarta. The research was motivated by issues related to the unfair distribution of rewards and the inconsistent application of disciplinary measures, which have led to decreased employee motivation and job satisfaction. Using a quantitative approach with an associative research design, data were gathered through questionnaires distributed to 67 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 30. The findings indicate that both reward and punishment have a significant and positive partial impact on employee performance. Simultaneously, these two variables also show a significant combined effect, with a determination coefficient of 71.8%. This suggests that the majority of employee performance variations can be explained by the implementation of reward and punishment systems. The study emphasizes the importance of applying these mechanisms fairly and consistently to foster a productive work environment. It also highlights that well-managed incentives and corrective actions not only serve as control tools but can also motivate employees to improve their performance. The results are expected to assist company management in formulating more effective human resource strategies.
