Abstract

PT BPR BKK Karangmalang Sragen is a financial institution that operates in the banking
sector with activities to collect and distribute funds from and to the community in
accordance. This research uses quantitative data. The data source used is data acquisition
in the form of primary data. The population in this study was 34 employees of PT BPR BKK
Karangmalang Sragen, so the sampling technique in this study used a census technique so
that the entire population was sampled. The results of this research indicate that workload
(X1) has no significant effect on the performance of PT BPR BKK Karangmalang Sragen
employees, and the work environment has a significant effect on the performance of PT
BPR BKK Karangmalang Sragen employees. The calculated F test result was 39.171 with
a significance value (p. value) of 0.000 <0.05. The result of the coefficient of determination
(adjusted R2) is 0.698. This means that the contribution of the independent variables X1
(work load) and X2 (work environment) to Y (employee performance) is 69.8%. The
remainder (100% - 69.8%) = 30.2% is explained by other variables outside the model, for
example wages/salary, work discipline, etc.
